There is no form on this website, so it does not directly collect names, email addresses, messages or other information from visitors.
Technical records
The site is hosted using GitHub Pages. As with most web hosting, GitHub may process technical information such as IP addresses and browser details for delivery, security and operational purposes. GitHub describes its handling of this information in the GitHub General Privacy Statement.
Cookies and analytics
Limited Google Analytics (measurement ID G-DEJ9C50DTY) loads when a page opens unless you have turned it off. It is used only to produce statistical information about how the website is used and to improve it. It records standard page views, including the page address and title, so that I can understand which pages are visited. Page locations keep campaign tags (utm_ parameters) and drop any other query string. Enhanced measurement, granular location and device collection, Google Signals, advertising and profiling are disabled.
The notice shown on your first visit explains this and lets you keep analytics on or turn it off. Your choice is recorded in essential storage. You can use the whole website either way and change your choice through Analytics settings in the footer.

Basis, retention and choices
For storage and access on your device, this website relies on the statistical purposes exception in the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations. For any related personal data processing, the lawful basis is my legitimate interest in understanding and improving this website. You can object free of charge at any time through Analytics settings in the footer. Turning analytics off stops future loading and removes the _ga cookies that this site can access. The preference remains for 90 days so that the site remembers your choice.
Google Analytics retains event and user data for 14 months. Returning to the site does not extend this period. Google Signals and advertising personalisation features are disabled. Google may process analytics data outside the United Kingdom and describes the safeguards it uses in Safeguarding your data and its Privacy Policy.
